Recent litigation encourages higher education to incorporate Universal Design of Learning (UDL) into online courses to ensure compliance with federal regulations pertaining to recent litigation. This collaborative session includes historical content, a review of lawsuits, OCR rulings, federal regulations with a round table discussion led by a panel of experts. The use of Universal Design will be discussed as well as practical presentations by vendors of various LMS, software, and assistive technology including hands-on assistance with making various content accessible.
